Job summary

ecube in Coolidge, AZ is hiring for an aircraft disassembly technician to support the technical team in disassembling aircraft components and documenting removed parts under supervisor guidance.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in aircraft maintenance, disassembly, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe disassembly/removal of parts and proper labeling/documentation.
  • Identify damaged components by visual inspection.
  • Read/interpret AMMs & IPCs.
  • Use tools and maintain equipment in good repair.
  • Support continuous improvement projects to enhance quality and productivity.
  • Uphold safety guidelines and report technical issues to management.

Summary

To support our growing Technical Team, in the disassembly of various aircraft projects to perform aircraft disassembly as directed by the technical supervisor, document the parts removed. You will perform daily work scope based on aircraft parts needing removal as directed by the Technical Supervisor. Assists Technical Supervisor with any work that needs to be completed.

Main responsibilities
  • To ensure the safe disassembly/removal of parts/components from various aircrafts and that these are clearly labelled/documented
  • Ability to identify damaged components by visual methods
  • To read/interpret AMMs & IPCs
  • To work with various tools/equipment and ensure all items are well maintained and in good state of repair at all times
  • To actively support the continuous improvement projects within the business to help improve quality and productivity.
  • To promote a culture of safety by monitoring self & others to ensure all duties are performed within established safety guidelines
  • To report any Technical issues, delays or other issues to the Head of Technical/Senior Management Supporting the delivery of KPIs across safety, quality and productivity to maintain operational growth (including hours worked; accuracy & quality; responsiv
  • Ensure all contract reviews are completed and the relevant control and sign off certification in line with Company policy & procedures
  • Work in conjunction with other functional teams, ensuring that the resources required to support the projects are in place
  • Any other duties associated with, or different from those specified above at the request of the Senior Management, or to meet the needs of the business demands
Key attributes
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, disassembly, or related field
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic understanding of aircraft systems and structures
Skills/experience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and engineering drawings
  • Familiarity with FAA regulations.
