Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis seeks an Assistant Director, Disability Resources to lead daily operations on the Danforth Campus and support the Director.

You will supervise DR Coordinators, review documentation for accommodations, and collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to promote inclusive access and Universal Design across curricular and co-curricular programs. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and experience accepted.
• 5+ years of experience in college/university disability resources.
• Ability to review psycho-educational and medical information for accommodations.
• Familiar with ADA, Section 504, FERPA and related regulations.
• Experience with disability resource management systems (AIM/Accommodate/Clockwork).

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and program/budget management within Disability Resources.
• Direct supervision of DR Coordinators; provide staff training.
• Engage with students to determine appropriate accommodations.
• Instruct and support faculty and staff on equitable access and universal design.
• Contribute to policy development and assessment activities.
