Management & Training Corporation (MTC) operates the Tongue Point Job Corps Center in Astoria, OR, seeking staff for accommodation plan implementation and maintenance in compliance with government and management directives. The role involves reviewing applicant files for health, mental health, physical, and educational accommodations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and one year related experience.
• Directly related experience may be substituted for education requirements.
• Experience developing Individual Accommodation Plans (IAPs) for clients with mental health, physical, and learning disability; experience linking with disability and mental health agencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency required.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the accommodation review process by reviewing Job Corps applicant files for health, mental health, physical, drug/alcohol, or educational accommodations.
• Coordinate with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to identify accommodations needed and provide applicant materials for IDT review.
• Set up and maintain accommodation files; monitor, track, and follow up on effectiveness of accommodations.
• Determine if accommodation is reasonable for the facility to provide and adjust when needed; reconvene IDT periodically to improve accommodations.

What you will be doing:

You’ll be responsible for implementation and maintenance of student accommodation plans, in compliance with government and management directives.

• Oversee the accommodation review process by reviewing Job Corps applicant files for possible health, mental health, physical, drug and alcohol, or educational accommodations.
• Coordinate with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to identify accommodations needed. Provide applicant materials to IDT members for review and ensure the review process is thorough and appropriate.
• Set up and maintain accommodation files. Monitor, track, and follow up on the effectiveness of accommodations.
• Make determination if accommodation is reasonable or not for facility to provide.
• Adjust accommodations when needed. Reconvene the IDT periodically to develop more effective accommodations for individual students as necessary.

Qualifications, Required And Requested Skills
