The Standard is seeking a Disability Benefits Examiner to investigate and evaluate disability claims, gather medical, occupational, and financial information, and determine eligibility for benefits. The role emphasizes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and empathetic service to claimants and stakeholders.

You will manage claims through resolution and ensure accurate benefit payments, communicating clearly with claimants, policyholders, and other parties.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of experience in disability claims or related field.
• Experience analyzing medical, occupational, and policy information to make decisions.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to explain complex information clearly.

• Review medical, occupational, and policy information to determine eligibility for disability benefits.
• Obtain and analyze documentation to support timely claim decisions and resolve discrepancies.
• Develop and execute claim management strategies to support resolution and liability management.
• Provide clear, accurate, and responsive communication to claimants and stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate benefit payments by identifying deductible income and maintaining data in the claims system.
