Job summary

ViaQuest Employment Services is offering a full-time role with compensation of $18.00–$19.50 per hour. The position supports individuals with disabilities by providing job skills training and daily supervision to promote independence and successful employment in the community.

Ideal candidates have experience in special education or related fields, are responsible and flexible, and bring knowledge of food industry, retail, or hospitality services. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in special education, developmental disabilities, or youth-centered field preferred.
• Professional, responsible, mature, and flexible.
• Knowledge of food industry, retail, and hospitality services preferred.
• Professionally maintain daily documentation.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise clients who have developmental/physical disabilities to acquire skills for job tasks, work routines and personal life habits.
• Assist clients in performing work responsibilities to foster independence and retention.
• Provide daily job skills training with a focus on community employment and inclusion.
• Interact with individuals in a respectful manner to provide meaningful outcomes.
