DIRT BIKE HEAD INSTRUCTOR - PROGRAM DIRECTOR
SUMMER CAMP SUPERVISORS

Part Season (4 weeks) Employment Opportunities are also available.

PRE and POST CAMP WORK AVAILABLE. Pre-Camp Option: May 1 - June 22. Post-Camp Option: August 29 - Sept. 30+

Positions and Qualifications
  • Head Instructor, Program Director, Camp Supervisor, and Senior Staff Member titles are used for experienced teachers, coaches, and child care professionals in leadership roles at camp.
  • Senior Staff Members are provided private accommodations. Family accommodations are available for those with families.
  • Children of Senior Staff Members attend camp free of charge.
About Camp Lohikan

Camp Lohikan is a coed resident summer camp located in northeast Pennsylvania, serving children aged 6 to 15. We operate over 65 Arts, Sports, and Adventure Activities daily, with extensive facilities. Located in the Pocono Mountains near Lake Como, about 2.5 hours from New York City, the camp has been operated by the Buynak family since 1957. Our community is dedicated to caring for campers and staff, fostering support and encouragement for children to try new things and grow. Staff and Benefits

We pay the BEST salaries to recruit the BEST staff! Our staff must be strong role models, able to put kids first, and adhere to strict policies including no smoking, vaping, or alcohol. Previous experience is preferred but not mandatory; certain positions require specific skills and certifications.

Job Requirements
  • Applicants should demonstrate high moral character, a strong work ethic, and be excellent role models. Experience working with children is preferred.
  • Camp Lohikan is a non-smoking (no vaping) camp.
  • Certification may be required depending on the position. Staff applying for instructor roles must have extensive personal experience and demonstrated expertise in the activity.
  • All applicants must pass screening processes including reference checks, background checks, fingerprinting, and sex-offender registry checks.
