NYC Administration for Children’s Services seeks a Director of Health Programs and Services to ensure quality medical care for youth in care and custody. You will work across DYFJ and ACS to audit health services, guide program improvements, and coordinate with contracted providers.

The role requires a NY RN license and advanced nursing degrees with substantial administrative experience and a track record in public health. Must travel and participate in meetings across facilities.

Qualifications

Valid New York State license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited college; Master’s in Nursing, Public Health or related field.
4+ years of public health/hospital nursing experience with 18 months in administrative/managerial roles or supervision.

Responsabilités

Perform audits of health services and evaluate compliance with standards across DYFJ facilities.
Conduct random case reviews for triage, referrals, and care coordination.
Collaborate with DYFJ and ACS health teams to analyze data and improve health service delivery.
Develop performance improvement plans and coordinate with contracted health providers.
