Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, public health, education, workforce development, or a related field.
  • Experience managing workforce development, continuing education or complex operational programs in healthcare.
  • Poised, professional demeanor with positive, confident presence.
  • Ability to think creatively to leverage college resources for workforce training needs.
  • Ability to adapt to changing technologies and systems.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ability to plan and organize work to meet schedules and changing deadlines.
  • Authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and direct assigned workforce development programs by supervising staff, KPIs, customer satisfaction, and compliance; achieve enrollment and performance goals.
  • Assist in development of proposals, grants, contracts, and employer agreements; review and negotiate contracts to ensure compliance.
  • Facilitate hiring, training, and development of vendors, instructors, and staff for program needs.
  • Schedule and coordinate programs and services in a cost‑effective manner while achieving program outcomes.
  • Manage preparation of program materials and delivery logistics (rooms, books, equipment).
  • Identify and recruit prospective students for all assigned programs.
  • Deliver curriculum content and instruction for workforce development programs, including work readiness and student support services.
  • Analyze program performance data to improve operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage all assigned budgets with attention to revenue and expenditures.
  • Collaborate with teams to assess feedback and drive improvements.
  • Compile data, analyze information, track students into college and careers, assist in grant writing.
  • Ensure delivery of CCRI placement requirements, financial aid, enrollment procedures for CCRI programs.
  • Ensure high quality and responsiveness in all programs, communications, proposals, and processes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with employers, community organizations, government agencies, and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate resources with academic departments to support student success.
  • Demonstrate commitment to CCRI’s mission as a comprehensive community college.
  • Work collaboratively in a diverse and inclusive environment.
  • Represent CCRI in committees and events; identify operational improvements and innovative solutions.
