Job summary

Preston Feather Building Centers in Northern Michigan is seeking a Window & Door Service & Installation Leader to lead our service team and drive installation capabilities. You’ll own the service and installation operation, develop the team, and partner with sales to support builder customers.

This hands-on role blends field and office work to deliver reliable, high‑quality projects and scalable processes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading people, crews, or subcontractors.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities without losing track of details.
• Strong communication with customers, sales, technicians, vendors and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Window & Door service team.
• Oversee service, warranty and project-support work for customers.
• Manage installation projects and relationships with installation partners.
• Collaborate with sales to help builder customers plan and execute projects.
• Coordinate with builders, vendors and field teams to keep projects moving and resolve issues.
• Build processes and standards for delivering service and installation work.
• Spend time in the field to understand on-site conditions and ensure quality.
