Adhere strictly to product quality standards, inventory control, productivity, order accuracy, and sanitation standards while maintaining control of departmental expenses.**RESPONSIBILITIES*** Hire, train, direct, and discipline warehouse personnel to achieve the most effective use of manpower and equipment.* Process weekly payroll.* Perform daily sanitation and safety inspections.* Ensure security, maintenance, and repair of warehouse equipment and physical building.* Perform cycle counting and reconciliations.* Process invoices and manage expenses.* Recommend improvements in material handling to promote efficiency and lower operating costs.* Manage productivity and order accuracy to achieve a high warehouse service level.* Maintain open communications with other departments, managers, and other company personnel.* Assure OSHA Compliance in warehouse operations.* Perform warehouse operation following the Buckhead/Newport Meat & Seafood compliance review.* Other duties as assigned by management.* Review receiving to determine out of stocks.
