Job summary

Lassonde Pappas & Co., Inc. is seeking a Director of US Internal Warehousing to lead internal warehouse operations across our U.S. manufacturing network, with responsibility for NJ and NC plants.

The role is based out of Cherry Hill, NJ, and supports Seabrook, NJ startup activities and North Carolina improvements. The candidate will partner with Manufacturing Operations, Logistics, Quality, Safety, and Plant Leadership to ensure safe, efficient, compliant, and cost-effective warehouse flows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive warehouse, logistics, distribution, supply chain, or manufacturing operations experience, including leadership responsibility within a plant, warehouse, or distribution environment.
• 10+ years of people leadership experience, including leading salaried leaders and hourly teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Demonstrated experience improving warehouse flows, material handling processes, inventory accuracy, labor productivity, and service performance.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations supporting manufacturing, including inbound materials, production replenishment, finished goods staging, inventory control, picking, shipping, and dock operations.
• Proficiency with ERP, WMS, inventory management, reporting, or warehouse performance systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership, direction, and accountability for internal warehouse operations supporting New Jersey and North Carolina manufacturing plants.
• Ensure safe, efficient, and compliant execution of receiving, storage, inventory management, material handling, production replenishment, staging, and shipping support activities.
• Establish operational goals and performance standards to achieve service, safety, quality, productivity, and cost objectives.
• Lead and develop warehouse leadership teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, engagement, and continuous improvement.
• Directly manage and develop a team of 2-3 warehouse leaders supporting plant operations.
• Lead the transition of warehouse operations into the Seabrook, NJ facility, including process design and startup stabilization.
• Drive warehouse flow optimization initiatives within the North Carolina facility following expansions.
• Identify opportunities to improve capacity, throughput, space utilization, material flow, labor productivity, and inventory accuracy.
• Lead major warehouse improvement initiatives, capital projects, process redesigns, and organizational change management.
