Job summary

Visa seeks a senior strategic consultant to lead consulting initiatives, guiding teams with deep payments and fintech knowledge. You will manage client relationships, deliver ROI-focused insights, and develop scalable frameworks to drive client growth and engagement across global regions.

This role requires extensive experience in management consulting, a strong understanding of payments ecosystems, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders while coordinating cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8+ years with an Advanced Degree.
  • 12+ years with Bachelor's or 8-10 years with Advanced Degree or 6+ years with a PhD (Preferred).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience at large management consulting firm or equivalent.
  • Solid understanding of payments dynamics and co-brand economics.
  • Deep knowledge of big tech and fintech business dynamics and revenue drivers.
  • Track record of managing external partnerships or client relationships.
  • Experience working with financial indicators to measure business performance.
  • Significant focus on impacting ROI.
  • Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.
  • Self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a sales pipeline, within an identified list of client targets, and sell consulting work to deliver against.
  • Build strong client relationships to ensure awareness of our offerings, a clear understanding of how we support their strategic objectives, and advocacy for our work.
  • Proactively engage in regular strategic & planning discussions with Account Executives, other VCA delivery teams and Client Marketing.
  • Lead consulting initiatives and be the main source of strategic insight and direction to the team.
  • Produce insights, analyses, and recommendations to improve client performance, boost growth, drive understanding of client issues and provide strategic guidance for client priorities.
  • Build new scalable solutions, toolkits, best practice documents and consulting frameworks that will help clients to grow their portfolios and customer engagement in their core business.
  • Partner with peers in other functional areas and across global regional teams to execute projects in ways that leverage the breadth and depth of Visa’s resources.
  • Manage various systems of record for pricing approvals, internal routing, legal/funding approvals, and proper revenue recognition.
  • Manage and lead a team of employees, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and consistent delivery of results.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance environment through coaching, development planning, and regular performance feedback.
