Job summary

Centene Management Company LLC is seeking a seasoned Vendor Management Leader to drive strategic partnerships and enterprise initiatives across healthcare programs. You will manage evaluation, contracting, implementation, governance and performance oversight to meet clinical, operational, and financial goals.

The role is remote within the United States with 10% travel; core hours align with Central Time, and you will lead cross-functional stakeholder meetings, deliver executive-level reporting,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
• 7+ years of vendor management experience, including government programs healthcare or related operations.
• Proficient with MS Project or other project management software and MS Office.
• Project management, administration or operations in the Healthcare industry preferred.
• Experience in training/education and use of statistical analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and support strategic enterprise vendor opportunities, including business case development, RFI/RFP coordination, vendor selection activities, contract development, negotiations and implementations.
• Lead stakeholder and oversight meetings with vendors, business leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders; provide executive-level reporting and recommendations.
• Accumulate, monitor, and report on vendor performance metrics to business unit management.
• Communicate expectations and vendor performance against established performance metrics to vendors, including development, implementation and follow up on annual vendor goals and targets.
• Ensure applicable vendor performance improvement plans and/or corrective action plans are initiated and completed as expected.
• Ensure vendors sustain required performance improvements/outcomes through verification audits.
• Oversee health plan participation in annual delegation audits; provide follow-through on audit deficiencies to assure corrective actions are implemented.

Position Purpose

Key Details

• This position is remote within the United States with 10% travel required.
• The team primarily operates during 8:00am-6:00 PM Central Time hours, candidates who can regularly work within or closely align to Central Time are preferred.
• Evaluate and support strategic enterprise vendor opportunities, including business case development, RFI/RFP coordination, vendor selection activities, contract development, negotiations and implementations.
• Lead stakeholder and oversight meetings with vendors, business leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders Provide executive-level reporting and recommendations related to vendor performance, business opportunities, and strategic initiatives Facilitate collaboration between vendors and internal partners, including Clinical, Operations, Finance, Compliance, Procurement, Legal, and Technology teams.
• Accumulate, monitor, and report on vendor performance metrics to business unit management.
• Communicate expectations and vendor performance against established performance metrics to vendors, including development, implementation and follow up on annual vendor goals and targets.

Pay Range

$148,000.00 - $274,200.00 per year

Education/Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
• 7+ years of vendor management experience, including government programs health care or related experience in mutiple areas of operations.
• Proficient with MS-Project or other project management software and MS-Office applications.
• Project management, administration or operations in the Healthcare industry preferred.
• Experience in training/education and use of statistical analysis preferred.

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.

Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
