Job summary

Fitch Ratings in New York seeks a Director for the U.S. Corporates Utilities & Midstream team to lead credit analysis of electric and gas utilities. You will evaluate corporate debt issuers and contribute to actionable research, guiding debt capital market decisions.

The role requires extensive credit experience, strong modeling and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Some travel and onsite work are expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in capital markets or credit analysis, with utilities exposure.
• Strong financial analysis and modeling capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cover a portfolio of Electric and Gas Utilities (15–20 names).
• Articulate Fitch's credit views in meetings, calls and written research.
• Be a visible external-facing representative in the ratings process with management teams and investors.
• Participate in evaluating credits within Corporates and related groups.
• Foster a positive, collaborative team environment in U.S. & Canada Corporates utilities.
