Job summary

Ramon.Space in Denver seeks a Director of US Supply Chain to build and lead the U.S. supply chain for high‑reliability space hardware programs. You will establish the operating model for strategic procurement, supplier management, and materials planning.

The role partners with Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Program teams to align supply chain strategy with program needs, manage risk, and drive performance. This is a hybrid role with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree a plus.
• 12+ years in high-reliability hardware, aerospace, or space sectors.
• Senior leadership experience in growing multi-site organizations.
• Experience managing critical suppliers or contract manufacturers for complex hardware.
• Strong procurement execution, supplier qualification, and long‑lead material management.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the U.S. supply chain function from planning through delivery.
• Develop operating model for sourcing, supplier management, procurement, and planning.
• Lead onboarding of CEMs and other suppliers.
• Partner with Engineering, QA, Program Mgmt, Finance, Legal to align supplier strategy with program needs.
• Establish supplier governance, KPIs, and escalation paths.
• Support negotiation and management of supplier agreements and POs.
• Drive visibility into long‑lead materials and risks.
• Define and implement MRP/ERP/PLM processes and data handoffs.
• Build staffing plan for buyers, planners, supplier management.
• Brief site leadership on supply chain health and risks.
