Based in Burbank, CA, with a hybrid schedule requiring three days in office, you will guide development, production, and distribution of unscripted content. You will negotiate complex agreements, advise senior production teams, and manage internal and external partners to mitigate risk while supporting creative and commercial

Qualifications

• 7+ years of practicing law at a national firm or major film/television studio.
• CA state bar membership in good standing.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex entertainment agreements.
• Ability to research legal questions and advise management.
• Strong written and verbal communication; concise drafting.
• Ability to supervise paralegal and clerical staff.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and draft development, production, and distribution agreements across multiple platforms.
• Provide legal guidance on production, distribution, and marketing of original content.
• Ensure compliance with policies and applicable laws; manage external counsel and vendors.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
