Job summary

Sage Truck Driving School is seeking a highly motivated manager to lead day-to-day training operations for its established truck driver program. The School Director will report to the Regional Manager and President, handling overall administration, staffing, admissions, and CDL test-site oversight.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in management with strong leadership, sales, and budgeting skills, plus experience in workforce education. Transportation industry experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading training programs and teams.
• Strong ability to manage admissions and lead generation.
• Demonstrated financial oversight and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead local team of instructors and staff.
• Oversee student admissions and lead calls.
• Drive recruitment and sales of programs to students and customers.
• Schedule instructors, students, trucks and CDL tests.
• Coordinate outreach to funding agencies.
• Ensure attendance, testing, and student records are maintained.
• Invoice for services and collect tuition and fees promptly.
• Manage cash flow and overall financial performance.
• Monitor CDL program quality and safety.
• Maintain honest, hardworking staff environment.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance and required records.
• Assist student job placement and CDL test site management.
