Job summary

Neurocrine Biosciences is seeking a Director of Treasury to provide strategic leadership for treasury and insurance functions. You will oversee treasury operations, banking relationships, risk management, and capital allocation in support of global growth.

You will partner with senior Finance leadership to shape liquidity, investments, and funding decisions across the organization. The role requires deep treasury expertise, strong leadership, and a track record of driving process improvements,

Qualifications

BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Admin, or related field with 12+ years in Treasury, capital markets, investments, corporate finance, and/or insurance OR MBA/MS/MA in Finance, Business Administration, or related field with 10+ years in these areas.
Deep technical knowledge across treasury disciplines, including liquidity, investments, capital markets, banking, derivatives, financial risk management, and corporate insurance.
Advanced financial modeling, market data interpretation, portfolio analytics, cash forecasting, stress testing, and scenario analysis skills.
Demonstrated expertise with revolving credit facilities, debt compliance, capital markets transactions, bank groups, rating agency analysis, investment portfolios, and financing strategies.
Experience leading Kyriba or other treasury management systems, bank connectivity, and process transformation; familiarity with Bloomberg, FXall, Clearwater, or bank portals.
Demonstrated application of artificial intelligence, workflow automation, analytics, or data platforms to strengthen treasury efficiency, controls, and reporting.
Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, geographic expansion, or other significant corporate transactions preferred.
CTP, CFA, CPA, MBA, or MS Finance preferred.
Recognized as an internal thought leader with extensive technical and business expertise in Treasury and Insurance; translates strategies into priorities.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the Company's treasury strategy, operating plan, policies, performance measures, and multi-year capability roadmap.
Lead enterprise cash forecasting, daily liquidity management, and short- and long-term liquidity planning, including stress testing.
Lead the Company's investment portfolio strategy and execution, including cash deployment, maturity planning, and risk controls.
Lead strategic relationships with banks, lenders, investment managers, custodians, and other financial institutions.
Develop and manage intercompany funding and settlement processes to support global operations; collaborate with Tax, Accounting and Legal.
Evaluate and execute capital markets and financing initiatives, including administration of the credit facility and covenant compliance.
Develop analyses supporting capital allocation decisions related to liquidity reserves and debt management.
Develop and enhance the Company's financial risk management framework for FX, interest rates, liquidity, and other exposures.
Support acquisitions, divestitures, licensing, and strategic initiatives through treasury due diligence and financing analyses.
Lead treasury technology and automation roadmap, including Kyriba and bank connectivity.
