Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of progressive experience in Transaction Advisory Services or related fields.
  • MBA, MHA, CPA, CFA, or another relevant advanced degree or professional certification.
  • Experience leading complex healthcare transactions, including buy-side and sell-side engagements.
  • Strong technical experience with QoE analyses, working capital assessments, financial modeling, and transaction analytics.
  • Healthcare industry experience across hospitals, health systems, physician practices, and related subsectors.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and build trusted relationships with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, project management, and executive presentation skills.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring of consulting professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple healthcare transaction advisory engagements, including buy-side and sell-side transactions, M&A, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and physician alignment initiatives.
  • Direct financial due diligence, including QoE analyses, working capital assessments, debt and debt-like analyses, financial modeling, earn-out calculations, and transaction-related analytics.
  • Advise executive leadership teams, private equity sponsors, health systems, physician organizations, and other stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle.
  • Identify and communicate transaction risks, value creation opportunities, and strategic considerations.
  • Lead multidisciplinary engagement teams while managing project scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverable quality.
  • Develop executive presentations, diligence reports, board materials, and other transaction-related deliverables.
  • Build trusted client relationships and identify opportunities to expand existing engagements and develop new business.
  • Support proposal development, client presentations, thought leadership, recruiting, and the continued development of transaction advisory best practices.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Director to support a growing Transaction Advisory Services practice focused on the healthcare industry in the Philadelphia market. This role will lead complex buy-side and sell-side transactions, financial due diligence, M&A, strategic partnerships, physician alignment initiatives, and post-transaction integration. The Director will serve as a senior advisor to executive teams, private equity sponsors, and healthcare organizations while leading multidisciplinary engagement teams and supporting practice growth.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead multiple healthcare transaction advisory engagements, including buy-side and sell-side transactions, M&A, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and physician alignment initiatives.

What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of progressive experience in Transaction Advisory Services, Financial Due Diligence, healthcare consulting, investment banking, corporate development, or a related field.
  • MBA, MHA, CPA, CFA, or another relevant advanced degree or professional certification.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex healthcare transactions, including buy-side and sell-side engagements.
  • Strong technical experience with QoE analyses, working capital assessments, financial modeling, and transaction-related analytics.
  • Healthcare industry experience across sectors such as hospitals and health systems, physician practices, ASCs, MSOs, DSOs, revenue cycle management, healthcare IT, payors, pharmacy, or post-acute care.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent engagements and build trusted relationships with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, project management, communication, and executive presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership, sound business judgment, and experience mentoring and developing consulting professionals.
Nice to Have
  • Experience within a dedicated healthcare Transaction Advisory Services or Financial Due Diligence practice.
  • Significant experience advising private equity firms, strategic investors, or healthcare organizations through complex transactions.
  • Broad exposure across multiple healthcare subsectors and transaction structures.
