Job summary

Baker Tilly US in Irvine is seeking a Director for our Transaction Services group. The role requires an entrepreneurial mindset to build a new practice within an established firm and to lead engagement teams with a strong client focus.

You will coach staff, coordinate services across the firm, and perform financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions. CPA is required; travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• Minimum 12 years of related experience; experience in a large public accounting firm preferred.
• CPA required. If not a CPA, must meet educational requirements to obtain CPA license upon hire in the state of employment.
• Must have the ability to analyze complex business and transaction situations.
• Previous experience supervising and training staff.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills and marketing abilities are required.
• Must be willing and able to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities
