Job summary

ViiV Healthcare is seeking a Director/Toxicology Project Specialist to lead end-to-end non-clinical safety strategy across a diverse portfolio. The role requires collaboration in a global matrix and integration with CMC, regulatory and clinical plans to accelerate drug development.

You will guide toxicology strategy, mentor team members, and influence internal governance with strong communication and cross-functional leadership across modalities and projects.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 8+ years, or PhD with 6+ years in non-clinical safety/toxicology.
• Experience as a PTM across multiple projects and modalities.
• Non-clinical safety expertise with understanding of disposition, safety and target engagement.
• Knowledge of worldwide regulatory requirements for drug development.

Responsibilities

• Toxicology project team member (PTM) supporting 5-10 projects at any given time.
• Drive aspects of projects across discovery and development with cross-disciplinary input.
• Integrate data to craft narratives for governance reviews and regulatory documents.
• Collaborate with GSK pre-clinical sciences and external academic partners.
• Lead major scientific initiatives within the Pre-clinical Sciences team.
