Job summary

Prime Data Centers in the United States is seeking a Director, Tenant Fit-Out to lead the TFO engineering organization responsible for designing and delivering customer-specific deployment solutions within Prime's data centers.

You will own the multidisciplinary team, partner with Base Build, and translate tenant requirements into constructible, code-compliant designs while driving schedule, budget, and quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 12+ years in data center design/engineering/construction with tenant fit-out experience.
• 5+ years leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Deep familiarity with data hall white space design, cabling, and power distribution.
• Experience partnering with enterprise or hyperscale customers on technical requirements.
• Experience coordinating with base-build design and construction teams.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the TFO engineering organization across Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, Technical, Pre-Construction, BIM, and Estimating disciplines.
• Own end-to-end delivery of customer-ready deployment solutions, including white space design, rack layouts, power distribution, and cabling.
• Serve as the primary engineering escalation point for customer requirements and translate tenant specs into constructible designs.
• Partner with Base Build Engineering leadership to align TFO designs with facility capacity and infrastructure.
• Establish design standards, templates, and playbooks for recurring tenant deployment types.
• Own the TFO budget, staffing plan, and resource allocation across active and pipeline projects.
• Report program status, technical risks, and commercial impacts to senior leadership and customers.
• Champion continuous improvement in design quality, cost control, and schedule performance.
