Job summary

FOX Direct to Consumer seeks a Director, Technology Business Operations to lead the strategy, systems, and processes that connect technology investments with labor costs and performance metrics. This role partners across engineering, finance, controllership, internal audit, and people systems to modernize data capture and reporting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in technology business operations or related fields.
• Experience building cross-functional systems across Finance, HR, and Engineering.
• Strong understanding of software development capitalization, controls, audit needs.
• Experience connecting technology investments to labor costs and outcomes.
• Analytical and technical capabilities with SQL and BI tools.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with Workday, Jira, and Jira Product Discovery.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology business operations strategy for software capitalization and investment planning.
• Develop labor capitalization methodologies and allocate costs.
• Coordinate with Controllership, Internal Audit, and external auditors.
• Drive audit readiness and reduce manual evidence collection.
• Create investment and resource planning models linking labor to initiatives.
• Provide analyses for annual planning and quarterly reviews.
• Evaluate resource allocation scenarios and build vs buy decisions.
• Define multi-year roadmap for systems, data, automation and AI capabilities.
• Collaborate with Engineering and People Systems to implement scalable solutions across Workday, Jira, Jira Product Discovery.
• Design AI-assisted workflows with governance and traceability.
• Streamline information flow and reduce duplicate reporting.
