Universal Orlando Resort believes in-person collaboration is key to our success. Many of our Team Members work in a hybrid capacity, contributing from the workplace a minimum of three days per week. Some remote opportunities are available within specific departments. There are also roles that require being on-site full time. You’ll learn more about this during the application process.
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the safety, operational readiness, and show quality of area assigned. Ensure the rides and attractions are compliant with all governing bodies. Interface with UPR and other Universal parks for conformance to internal standards. Additional responsibilities will include financial, TSAT, RCM, safety training, and development of team they support. Also may be assigned additional departments like Central Shops, Show Systems, Warehouse, and RCM.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering is required.
EXPERIENCE: 12+ years in ride maintenance field or equivalent with significant experience in safety, maintenance, and inspection of critical equipment required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: NAARSO certification of Level 1 is a must, as well as Affiliation with ASTM as a member in good standing preferred. Involvement in trade specific organizations (i.e. American Society for Quality and National Fluid Power Society, as well as others) a plus. Affiliation with NAARSO or AIMS required for this position.
