Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Director, Technical Program Management to lead and grow a team of TPMs, drive complex, data-intensive programs, and partner across product, engineering, design, and data science. You will steward resilience, reliability, and execution, delivering scalable platforms in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
7+ years managing technical programs.
Experience with distributed computing and scalable systems.
Cloud computing experience preferred.
Experience with Agile delivery and large, cross-functional programs.

Responsibilities

Grow and develop a team of TPMs and build TPM practice foundations.
Drive resilience and reliability initiatives (chaos engineering, FMEA, run‑the‑engine).
Lead end-to-end delivery across product, engineering, design, and data science.
Simplify complex technical decisions to enable informed bets and fast outcomes.
Own the business/technical vision for large programs with cross‑functional collaboration.
