Job summary

Capital One seeks a Director, Technical Program Manager - Bank Tech to lead large-scale programs and build scalable platforms. You will partner across product, engineering, design and data science to deliver on critical business goals and drive technical risk mitigation.

You will grow TPM talent, shape the TPM practice, and ensure clear execution with strong cross-team collaboration and accountability. This role prioritizes scalable, data-driven, compliant solutions in a regulated banking

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 7+ years of experience managing technical programs.
• 7+ years designing and building data-intensive solutions with distributed computing.
• 3+ years building distributed systems and highly available services in AWS.

Responsibilities

• Lead programs delivering on critical business goals and build large-scale platforms.
• Grow and develop a team of TPMs and establish TPM practice foundations.
• Simplify technically complex decisions across product, engineering, design and data science.
• Drive execution with accountability and cross-team collaboration across functions.
