The Director of Technical Product Delivery is responsible for leading engineering teams in the delivery of data platform solutions within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, including data pipelines, data quality framework, semantic/presentation layer, and orchestration services. The incumbent provides input to make critical business decisions, including staffing and process improvement, and impacts day-to-day operations through the oversight of the technology team. The incumbent operates with considerable latitude for unreviewed decisions and uses an extensive range of knowledge to complete job responsibilities.
The role challenges the incumbent to keep the needs of external and internal customers as a priority when making decisions and taking action. This role implements decisions which will directly impact profitability. Has regular interactions with employees and leaders in own department, decision makers for client, clients, and other functions within the company. This is a people management job with authority for all HR actions (hiring, firing, discipline, training, etc.)
