Job summary

Apex Clean Energy seeks a Director, Technical Assurance to lead the company’s renewable energy technical advisory function across financing, procurement, and quality governance. You will oversee technical reviews for solar, wind, and storage assets and be the primary technical voice with lenders and investors.

This role requires high‑level collaboration with engineering, development, and legal teams. You will manage a team of technical assurance staff and external consultants, setting standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• 10+ years in renewable-energy, spanning project finance, development operations, and engineering.
• Experience taking technical due diligence through to financial close on debt and tax‑equity financings.
• 3+ years in a senior leadership role managing technical staff and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Own IE and technical due diligence across debt and tax‑equity financings.
• Serve as senior technical contact with lenders, tax‑ equity investors, buyers, and third‑party IEs.
• Review IE reports, OEM specs, and drawings against financing conditions.
