The Role
The FMR LLC Corporate Tax Department is seeking a Director, Tax Counsel to become a member of the Tax Planning team, providing support on a wide variety of tax matters for Fidelity business teams, including financings, restructurings, various business ventures and related acquisitions and dispositions. This position will be responsible for working with our partners to advise on structuring and general tax compliance for projects and investments impacting Fidelity and its shareholders. The ideal candidate will have a background in partnership tax and transactions and will be comfortable communicating tax-related concepts to audiences with varying degree of tax expertise.

The Team
The FMR LLC Corporate Tax Department team is composed of more than 50 lawyers and CPAs who advise and support on tax matters across the Fidelity organization, including the firm’s asset management business. Team members are based primarily out of Fidelity’s Boston office.
Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
