  • Strong engagement strategy and risk management skills, with the ability to lead leaders and manage multiple concurrent priorities.

  • Strong client-facing communication, stakeholder management, and sound professional judgment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tax software and tools.

Tools and workflow
  • Monitor portfolio filing calendars, extensions, delivery milestones, staffing, capacity, and utilization.
  • Review engagement financials, including budgets versus actuals, billing, realization, and write‑ups or write‑downs.
  • Track technical issues, review notes, rework, compliance findings, and escalation plans to strengthen quality and risk management.
  • Use client feedback, retention trends, referrals, and growth opportunities to support client relationships and practice planning.
Success expectations
  • Engagements are delivered on time with consistent quality, supported tax positions, and effective risk management.
  • Complex technical and client issues are resolved with timely communication and appropriate escalation.
