Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Finance, this role is responsible for overseeing domestic and international tax planning, compliance, reporting, tax accounting, transfer pricing, and tax risk management while partnering closely with Finance, Treasury, Legal, Global Operations, and regional finance teams.

This is a highly visible leadership opportunity within a lean, global organization where you'll have the ability to influence business strategy while remaining hands‑on in complex tax matters. • Serve as the company's primary tax advisor to the SVP Finance, CFO and executive leadership on all domestic and international tax matters.
  • Evaluate the tax implications of business initiatives, legal entity restructurings, acquisitions, financing activities, and cross‑border transactions.
  • Oversee global transfer pricing policies, intercompany arrangements, and supporting documentation in partnership with external advisors and regional finance teams.
  • Maintain an effective global tax governance framework, including internal controls and compliance processes.
Tax Compliance & Financial Reporting
  • Lead all aspects of the company's global tax compliance activities, including federal, state, local, and international income tax, VAT/GST, withholding taxes, and other indirect taxes.
  • Oversee preparation and review of quarterly and annual tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation, review, and filing of global tax returns through internal resources and external advisors.
  • Partner closely with Regional Controllers and Finance teams to ensure tax accounting is integrated into financial reporting and forecasting processes.
  • Lead tax audits and manage communications with domestic and international taxing authorities.
  • Monitor global tax legislation and regulatory developments, assessing business impacts and implementing appropriate actions.
Business Partnership & Tax Planning
  • Partner with Finance, Treasury, Legal, and business leaders to provide practical tax guidance on strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, legal entity changes, financing activities, and other complex business transactions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the company's global tax position, including legal entity optimization, tax‑efficient financing, and cash repatriation strategies.
  • Collaborate with Treasury on tax‑efficient capital planning and global cash management.
  • Recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and reduce tax risk.
  • Lead and develop a small global tax team by providing technical guidance, coaching, and day‑to‑day leadership.
  • Coordinate the work of external tax advisors to ensure high‑quality deliverables, cost‑effective support, and alignment with company objectives.
  • Build collaborative relationships across Accounting, Treasury, Legal, Finance, Internal Audit, and regional business leaders.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and exceptional customer service.
  • Lead by example with a collaborative, hands‑on leadership style, balancing strategic oversight with active execution.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
