Responsibilities

• Own enterprise talent acquisition strategy for ~30 hires/year.
• Lead employee engagement, culture, and employee relations.
• Develop leadership coaching and succession readiness programs.
• Support strategic workforce planning and org design.
• Provide workforce analytics and reporting (Workday, Tableau).
• Ensure compliance with employment law in a regulated environment.

A well-established, regulated financial institution in the Pittsburgh market is adding a newly created seat to its HR leadership team: Director, Talent & Workforce Strategy.

The organization already runs disciplined succession planning and strategic workforce planning, reviewed quarterly with the executive team and twice a year with the board. What's missing is a leader who brings more structure and philosophy to how the company sources, develops, and retains talent across the board.

What you'll own:

• Enterprise talent acquisition strategy (around 30 hires a year across the organization)
• Employee engagement, workplace culture, and employee relations
• Leadership development, coaching, and succession readiness
• Strategic workforce planning and organizational design support
• Workforce analytics and reporting (Workday, with Tableau in use)
• Compliance with employment law and regulatory expectations in a regulated environment

What you bring:

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience with real leadership responsibility, not just individual contributor work
• A track record across multiple HR disciplines: recruiting, employee relations, OD, or workforce planning. Generalists with a specialty are a strong fit; pure specialists are not
• Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR a plus
• Experience with Workday or a comparable HRMS
