Job summary

Sysco’s Global Support Center in Houston seeks a senior Talent & Leadership Development partner to drive leadership development and talent initiatives. You will work with HR and CoE to shape talent planning, succession and performance programs, ensuring alignment with US Foodservice and corporate priorities.

The role requires cross-cultural experience, strong facilitation and the ability to influence without direct authority, with occasional travel to Sysco facilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of cross-cultural talent/HR experience in a Fortune 500 organization.
• Proficient in Workday and MS Teams.
• Experience partnering with multiple stakeholders including business, HR and CoE.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations, corporate functions and HR to build leadership pipelines.
• Roll out talent processes: succession, performance management, talent pools, HIPO and internal mobility.
• Provide coaching to HR Partners and Leaders on Talent and Performance practices; gather insights for COEs.

Our Global Support Center/ Corporate Office is in the Energy Corridor- off I10 and N Eldridge.

This is a hybrid position requiring an on-site presence 3 to 4 days per week. Please note that the number of days on-site can increase based on business needs.

Summary

Responsible for improving the effectiveness of individuals, teams, and organizations, in support of achieving Sysco’s US Foodservice and Corp business priorities. Working in partnership with HR and CoE the work includes scoping and executing initiatives related to strategic talent planning, succession, performance management and career development. The role requires strong partnership with business and HR leaders across USFS field and corporate locations. The role is the conduit between the Global Talent Development Centre of Excellence, HR and USFS.

Duties And Responsibilities

Reporting to Senior Director, Talent & Leadership Development and based in the Houston headquarters - Office Human Resources. In this role the incumbent is responsible for full talent business partnering:

• Partner with the USFS Operations business team, US Specialty companies, corporate functions, Human Resource leaders, to build a strong leadership pipeline able to achieve current and future business objectives.
• Manage the rollout of key talent processes including talent and succession, performance management, talent pools, HIPO Management, Internal Mobility and Development Planning
• Provide active support and coaching to HR Business Partners and Leaders on Talent and Performance practices, Support Succession candidates and high-potential development, gather feedback, trends, and insights from their region to the COEs, Interpret and act on strategic talent data, Partner with all groups across GTD on critical needs

Required Minimum Experience

• 7+ years of experience of broad responsibility working cross-culturally creating enterprise focused Talent and or HR in a Fortune 500 organization
• Proficient in learning platforms and Technologies – Workday, MS Teams preferred
• Significant experience in business partnering and managing multiple stakeholders e.g. business, HR, Centre of Excellence
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience with a related degree (e.g. Organizational Development, Talent Management, Human Resources) for external candidates but preferred for internal candidates
  
  

Work Environment

• This position is based at GSC, Houston
• Travel may be required up to 30%+ to Sysco facilities or operating companies.
