This role leads application strategy, ensures secure flow of information between systems and identifies practical opportunities for AI and automation to reduce manual work and improve the overall experience for clinicians, staff and patients. • The Director of IS Applications & Interoperability provides strategic and operational leadership for the healthcare system’s enterprise application portfolio and interoperability environment, developing and utilizing a three-to-five-year organizational strategic roadmap.
• Reporting to the Vice President - Enterprise Services, the leader partners closely with clinical leadership, physicians, nursing, revenue cycle, finance, operations, analytics, security, and other organizational stakeholders to ensure technology solutions are aligned with business and clinical priorities, identifying opportunities for automation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and predictive analytics.
• This position is a salaried position with a pay range of $157,892 - $263,120. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
• In this position, the individual would have general working hours of Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm though exact hours may vary to support the needs of our organization and team.
• This leadership role is eligible for hybrid work requiring the individual to beonsite in Columbus, IN 2-3 times per quarter.

What the successful candidate will bring to this position:

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university required. Master's degree in related field preferred.
• Eight to ten (8-10) years’ experience managing Information Services application services required.
