Apellis Pharmaceuticals seeks a senior market access leader to own the U.S. market access strategy for SYFOVRE, aligning pricing, contracting, and payer marketing with brand objectives.

The Director, SYFOVRE Market Access Strategy will lead the U.S. market access strategy for SYFOVRE, with responsibility for optimizing pricing, contracting, and payer/reimbursement marketing in the evolving retina marketplace. Reporting to the Head of Access Strategy for Retina and Nephrology/Hematology, this role will manage a team focused on payer and reimbursement marketing strategy and tactics, pricing and contracting initiatives, and support for payer, strategic accounts, and reimbursement field teams. As the senior market access lead for SYFOVRE, you will be ultimately accountable to the BNA Leadership Team for integrated access strategy and performance. You will lead a multidisciplinary team and partner across MA&R, Medical, Finance, Trade & Distribution, and the SYFOVRE franchise to anticipate market changes, address access barriers, and ensure access strategy is integrated with brand objectives.
You are a strategic, commercially minded market access leader who can translate complex payer, reimbursement, provider, and competitive dynamics into clear business strategies. You anticipate market change, build alignment across functions and levels, and mobilize teams to deliver business results in a buy-and-bill specialty market.
