Job Description Summary:

To deliver against this ambition, we need reliable data, clear governance, scalable digital capabilities, and strong reporting readiness. The Director, Sustainability Strategy will play a critical role in strengthening the processes, tools, and insights required to manage sustainability and safety performance across Operating Units, bottling partners, and global functions.

This role will partner closely Operating Units, bottling partners, Global Digital Network / IT, QSE, Public Affairs, Communications and Sustainability, and Sustainability Finance. The role will translate business needs into practical, scalable data and digital solutions that support credible reporting, better decision-making, performance improvement, and progress against key company commitments.

What You’ll Do for Us:

• Serve as a key contributor to global sustainability and safety priorities by enabling stronger data, better insights, and more consistent ways of working across the Coca-Cola system.
• Lead the development and continuous improvement of sustainability and safety data governance processes across Operating Units, bottling partners, SMEs and relevant corporate functions.
• Lead improvements in sustainability and safety data readiness by strengthening data quality, traceability, controls, and consistency across key metrics used for voluntary and regulatory reporting, including The Coca-Cola Company Sustainability Report, CSRD, CARB, and other relevant disclosure requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and SMEs to define business requirements, translate them into clear IT requirements, and support delivery in partnership with digital and technology teams.
• Drive alignment across Sustainability and Safety, QSE Digital, Global Digital Network / IT, Sustainability Finance, and other relevant stakeholders to develop scalable data, analytics, visualization, and reporting solutions to achieve efficient assurance processes and reporting readiness.
• Partner with IT teams and other relevant functions to support the design, improvement, and implementation of master data processes and data quality governance for sustainability and safety metrics.
• Lead efforts to identify digitization needs across the Sustainability and Safety function and convert those needs into practical solutions that improve data connectivity, accuracy, transparency, and usability.
• Work with cross functional teams to support the development and rollout of digital platforms, including Enablon and similar tools, across Operating Units and the bottling system to capture, manage, and analyse key sustainability and safety metrics.
• Drive targeted process improvements related to master data management, data quality, reporting controls, and sustainability performance reporting, conducts testing, system validation and troubleshoot issues as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, statistics, data management, business, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in a relevant function such as Supply Chain, QSE, Sustainability, data governance, reporting, or related areas.
• Strong understanding and experience of sustainability and/or safety data processes, including data collection, validation, analysis, governance, controls, reporting readiness, and disclosure support.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into clear data, digital, and IT requirements that improve reporting readiness, data quality, and process effectiveness.
• Experience with digital platforms and tools used for sustainability, EHS, QSE, or enterprise data management; experience with analytics, AI, machine learning, or visualization tools is a plus.
• Strong project management, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams, functions, geographies, and organizational levels.
• Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

United States: 171,000 - 198,000 USD

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
