Job summary

Mars is seeking a senior Digital Sustainability Leader in the United States to architect and execute the sustainability digital strategy for Mars Snacking. You will align cross-functional teams, secure funding, and own process design for digital tools, data controls, and reporting across the business.

This role emphasizes strong data capabilities, attention to detail, and partnering with regional and global teams to drive measurable sustainability outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, project management, and/or sustainability related topics.
• 7+ years’ recent experience in sustainability accounting and data in a matrixed CPG company or 5 years in quantitative data analysis plus 3 years in sustainability accounting or controls functions.
• Demonstrated understanding of supply chain and demand functions.
• Strong experience with data processing and data tools (e.g. Excel, PowerBI).
• Outstanding attention to details and rigor.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Digital Sustainability Strategy.
• Build a multi-year digital strategy aligning with sustainability priorities and operating model.
• Partner cross-functionally to identify interdependencies where sustainability data can support other teams.
• Secure and direct digital funding in partnership with Digital Technologies and Data & Analytics teams.
• Implement the digital strategy and manage sustainability systems and analytics needs.
• Own Sustainability Digital Program & Process Design.
• Define and align digital tools and accounting processes.
• Represent Snacking in foundational digital programs and OS design work.
• Define digital product owners and ensure SME representation in workstreams.
• Define training needs and execute with the team.
• Collaborate on fit-for-purpose design for new operating model.
