Memorial Healthcare System seeks an experienced Nursing Leader to direct departmental activities, budgets and staff. You will align operations with mission and regulatory standards while guiding patient care delivery and service quality across the department.

Responsibilities include audits, policy maintenance, staff development, and implementation of goals across clinical, legal and ethical requirements within a complex healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
• Active RN license in the State of Florida.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant leadership/management experience.

Summary:

Directs the department’s activities and resources to ensure alignment with the mission, values, and objectives of the department and organization.

Responsibilities:

Procures and evaluates acceptable storage for surgical tissue(s).Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.Ensures policies, procedures and technical competencies are maintained to the standards of appropriate advisory board(s).Manages staff including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions and continuing education.Develops and implements departmental goals, plans and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.Coordinates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives that are compliant with predetermined standards.
