The MetroHealth System in Cleveland, OH seeks a Nursing Education and Perioperative Quality leader responsible for designing and delivering education programs across Surgical and Perioperative services, driving quality improvement initiatives and ensuring regulatory compliance.
This role partners with nursing leadership and clinical teams to advance patient safety, develop metrics, oversee staff development, and uphold MetroHealth’s mission and standards of care across facilities.

Designs and implements nursing education plans, and manages, delivers, and evaluates all continuing education, training and interventions for all Surgical and Perioperative health professionals, ancillary personnel as well as health professionals visiting our areas such as residents, etc. Facilitates professional interactions between all health care groups, nursing, anesthesia, and departmental associations, including various management levels. Provides management oversight to direct and indirect reports within the quality structure for Surgical and Perioperative Service Lines and integrates best practices, achieving efficient, quality, cost-effective outcomes. Collects and analyzes data related to quality or performance improvement projects that apply to Surgical and Perioperative Services and directs the perioperative quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with patient care regulatory and departmental standards and key performance indicators. Leads the development and improvement of systems and processes within Surgical Perioperative Service Lines to maximize exceptional outcomes in quality and patient safety and satisfaction.
