A leading company in the healthcare industry seeks a Supply Planning Director to enhance their supply chain management. This role involves building the governance around supply planning and managing a team across multiple sites, critical for their Integrated Business Planning. Candidates must have a strong background in supply chain and operations along with management experience.
The Supply Planning Director role will be responsible for building the foundation and governance around supply planning, including inventory management and master scheduling for Conmed Global, including 3 manufacturing sites located in Utica, NY, Largo, FL and Chihuahua, MX. This role will be critical to building out a full Integrated Business Planning process and will require strong capabilities in influencing, collaboration, critical and strategic thinking, and execution. In addition, this person will be building a team, which will require a proven track record in leadership, team building and development.This is a remote role with up to 40% travel.
Responsibilities:
Leads organization responsible for network planning and site production scheduling.
Manages near-term (<3 mo.) and mid-term (up to 36 mo.) supply plans across manufacturing and distribution network, and ensures close coordination between the two.
Oversees generation and optimization of production schedules.
Decides high-level mitigation plan in case of RM shortages or supply constraints, and reports to operations leadership for approval.
Leads monthly global supply review for sign-off on the supply plan.
Skills:
Proficiency in ERP/APS tools (e.g., Oracle)
Experience in scenario-based and constraint-based planning across sites
Deep understanding of supply chain and site ops
Familiarity with S&OE and integrated business planning (IBP)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong cross-functional communication skills and ability to influence and drive change across the organization
Ability to drive tactical execution and influence decision-making
Ability to assess and mitigate risks through strategic decision making
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 7 years of progressive management in supply chain/operations management and planning
Minimum 3 years' supply planning management experience
Disclosure as required by applicable law, the annual salary range for this position is $118,000-$200,000. The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level. The salary range is CONMED's good faith belief at the time of this posting.
