Job summary

Stormont Vail Health is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Director to guide the sourcing department and manage the clinically integrated supply chain. You will lead Value Analysis committees, set annual savings targets, and oversee supplier contracting and strategic product sourcing.

Responsibilities include policy development, monitoring performance metrics, ERP responsibilities, RFPs, and disaster preparedness planning. This role requires healthcare supply chain expertise and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, Statistics or related field.
• Master’s Degree MBA required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with assessing issues and opportunities, measure impact, and present a business case for change.
• Develop internal sourcing policies, procedures, and strategy with System Director.
• Monitor productivity and performance metrics for sourcing and savings initiatives and report results.
• Assist in annual budget preparation and monthly adherence.
• Handle ERP sourcing components including inventory master, pricing, units of measure, and vendors.
• Submit RFPs, analyze responses, and negotiate pricing and terms for capital acquisitions.
• Create and maintain disaster preparedness plans for the department and to meet Joint Commission requirements.
• Negotiate contractual terms with suppliers in a timely and professional manner.
• Manage performance improvement and safety activities of the Sourcing department.
