Responsibilities

  • Leads the development, execution, and continuous enhancement of the S&OP/E process supporting supply chain planning and execution across long- and short-term business cycles (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual).
  • Leads the cross-functional collaboration process to develop, define, and capture requirements that ensure supply chain plans are aligned, accurate, and reflective of current business priorities.
  • Partners with business, technology, and data teams to monitor planning deliverables, report variances, and drive updates on an agreed-upon cadence, ensuring visibility and accountability across functions.
  • Partners closely with Inventory Planning, Transportation, DC Operations, Network Flow, and Finance teams to translate forecast and capacity insights into actionable supply and inventory flow plans.
  • Collaborates with Directors and Managers across the enterprise to establish planning milestones, identify and mitigate risks, and resolve issues requiring cross-functional action.
  • Drives integration and alignment between S&OP (mid- to long-term planning) and S&OE (short-term execution) processes to maintain operational readiness, responsiveness, and execution excellence.
  • Develops, documents, and maintains end-to-end integrated planning and execution processes to ensure standardization, transparency, and scalability across the organization.
  • Establishes and maintains governance structures, including planning reviews, issue escalation protocols, decision-making forums, and performance management processes.
  • Leads the development and tracking of KPIs and dashboards to measure S&OP/E effectiveness, planning accuracy, operational performance, and execution outcomes.
  • Provides actionable insights to senior leadership regarding plan performance, supply chain risks, capacity constraints, execution challenges, and improvement opportunities.
  • Aligns planning and execution teams to develop proactive strategies that support operational execution and inventory flow during Tier 1 events and major seasonal initiatives.
  • Partners with Operations, Logistics, Inventory Planning, and Flow Forecast teams to assess capacity readiness and ensure seamless execution of key events.

Purpose of Role

The Director, Supply Chain Sales & Operations Planning and Execution (S&OP/E) leads the execution, governance, and continuous improvement of the enterprise planning and execution framework, ensuring inventory flow, network capacity, and operational readiness plans are aligned across strategic, tactical, and execution horizons. This leader drives integration between mid- and long-range planning (S&OP) and short-term operational execution (S&OE), enabling effective decision-making, optimized inventory deployment, and responsiveness to changing business conditions.
