Job summary

Commonwealth Fusion Systems is seeking a Director of Supply Chain for Plant Systems & Infrastructure to lead the team responsible for strategic sourcing, supplier management, and project execution on SPARC, ARC and other R&D initiatives.

Based in Devens, MA (with Richmond, VA as a secondary site), this role shapes the end-to-end supply chain for critical plant systems and infrastructure, ensuring alignment with internal customers and partners while delivering on tight schedules and cost targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team responsible for strategic sourcing, tactical procurement, supplier management, supplier development and reliability, and supply chain project management.
• Oversee process systems, electrical systems and plant infrastructure (construction, operations and maintenance, and industrial gases) for all active projects (SPARC, ARC and other R&D projects).
• Develop and execute an engaging leadership plan; align with internal customers and interfacing functions.

The Director, Supply Chain leads the team in charge of supply chain activities for the Plant Systems and Infrastructure scope. Responsibilities include process systems, electrical systems and plant infrastructure (construction, operations and maintenance, and industrial gases) for all active projects – specifically SPARC, ARC and all other R&D projects. The functional scope covers strategic sourcing, tactical procurement, supplier management, supplier development and reliability, supply chain project management.

The Director, Supply Chain leads the overall execution and organizational strategy for the team. They develop the management team and Supplier Integration Managers directly reporting to the position. They ensure alignment as leadership level with internal customers and interfacing functions.
