Job summary

Cosette Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in New Jersey is seeking a Director, Supply Chain Planning to lead end-to-end planning for the External Portfolio. You will optimize inventory, service levels, and working capital across a complex supplier network including API vendors, CMOs, and contract partners.

You will transform the planning function through talent development, standardized processes, and digital enablement, ensuring reliable product availability and scalable growth for Cosette's portfolio.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
10+ years of pharmaceutical supply chain experience.
5+ years of leadership experience in planning and supply chain management.
Experience managing S&OP, demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management.
Experience with outsourced pharmaceutical manufacturing networks.
Strong forecasting methodologies and inventory optimization knowledge.
SAP experience required; advanced planning systems experience preferred.
Demonstrated success leading organizational transformation and change management initiatives.
Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive results in a matrixed environment.
Willingness to travel approximately 10-15%.

Responsibilities

Lead supply, inventory, and replenishment planning activities across the External Portfolio.
Own and continually improve the monthly S&OP/IBP process.
Drive inventory optimization, service level improvements, and working capital performance.
Collaborate with Commercial, Operations, Finance, Quality, and External Manufacturing teams to ensure supply continuity.
Identify and mitigate supply risks, shortages, capacity constraints, and inventory imbalances.
Establish planning governance, KPIs, and performance management processes.
Develop planning talent through coaching, succession planning, and organizational development.
Standardize planning processes, policies, and planning methodologies across the portfolio.
Lead adoption of advanced planning tools, automation, analytics, and digital supply chain capabilities.
Support product launches, tech transfers, portfolio changes, and network optimization projects.
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Position Summary

As the Director, Supply Chain Planning, you will lead end-to-end supply and inventory planning for Cosette's External Portfolio. You will be responsible for ensuring reliable product availability while optimizing inventory, working capital, and customer service across a complex external supply network consisting of API suppliers, CMOs, CPOs, and component vendors.

In addition to operational leadership, you will play a key role in transforming the planning organization through talent development, process standardization, and digital enablement, helping build a scalable supply chain capable of supporting Cosette's future growth.

How You'll Spend Your Day

Lead supply, inventory, and replenishment planning activities across the External Portfolio.

Salary Range

The expected annual base salary for this New Jersey based position is $186,000 - $233,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee on the payment date.
