Allmand, a Generac Company, seeks a Director of Supply Chain to lead standard processes, improve customer fulfillment, warehousing and logistics efficiency, and drive a demand-driven SIOP approach across multiple sites.
Reporting to the VP Operations, this role guides Materials Management, WMS/ERP initiatives, and cost reduction through Total Cost of Ownership; travel is required domestically and internationally to align sites and vendors.

The Director Supply Chain is an integral operation partner providing leadership on standard processes to improve customer fulfillment, warehousing efficiency, logistics efficiency, total cost of working capital, WMS / ERP technology and operating costs. This role is responsible for driving business solutions and practices utilizing GENERAC’s Operating Model to develop a demand driven SIOP approach. The Director Supply Chain will organize and implement strategic initiatives and standardized approaches in Demand Management, Materials
Management, Warehousing Management, Planning / Procurement and WMS / ERP technologies.
Success in this role is defined by driving significant step function changes in Materials Supply Chain processes with demonstrated savings. This will be measured by ongoing improvements in fill rate, working capital and material margins (total cost of ownership). Reports directly to VP Operations and provides direct leadership to Supply Chain Managers, & Materials Managers at two separate locations, one in NE and one in WI.
This position acts under the direction of the VP Operations and partners with Production Execution, Demand Management, ERP and OPEX.
Office Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting; close vision and ability to adjust focus. Up to 30% travel and valid Driver’s
License required.
