Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics, Parsippany area, seeks an experienced operations leader to oversee production planning, purchasing, and material control. You will manage budgeting, ensure timely material flow, and coordinate with QA, manufacturing, and engineering to maintain inventory levels.

Responsibilities

  • Manages planning, development, implementation, administration, and budgeting of production planning, purchasing, material control, inventory control, and shipping/receiving.
  • Coordinates activities and resolves issues related to production planning, procurement, and material management; makes decisions aligned with strategy.
  • Implements and maintains material control systems, policies, processes, and procedures to ensure timely flow of approved materials.
  • Ensures personnel, equipment, material, and services are available to maintain inventory levels.
  • Coordinates with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Contract Administration.
  • Provides expertise for establishment and maintenance of the production control system.
  • May serve as liaison to governmental/regulatory agencies; interfaces as required.
  • Reviews/approves/implements changes to controlled documents.
  • Develops new department applications based on professional principles and theories.
  • May negotiate major contracts; monitors cost, schedules, and performance.

Compensation/Benefits
  • Salary range: $191,250.00 - $247,500.00. May be eligible for discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
