Job summary

Father Joe's Villages seeks a Manager of Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Services to lead the Village Health Center's outpatient program. You will supervise counselors, coordinate trauma-informed, harm-reduction, and MAT practices, and ensure integration with medical and behavioral health partners to improve client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Addiction Studies, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Behavioral Health, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum seven (7) years in substance use disorder treatment or related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of supervisory or management experience.
• Certification as Alcohol and Drug Counselor preferred (CCAPP/CADTP).
• Experience with outpatient SUD treatment, preferably CA DMC-ODS.
• Experience serving homelessness or complex behavioral health populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for outpatient SUD services.
• Supervise and develop Alcohol and Other Drug Counselors and staff.
• Lead implementation of trauma-informed, harm reduction, and MAT practices.
• Monitor referrals, caseloads, and program operations.
• Collaborate with medical, behavioral health, and community partners for integrated care.
• Develop and implement program goals, workflows, and service standards.
• Maintain limited clinical caseload and provide counseling and group services.
• Monitor performance indicators and quality improvement efforts.
• Lead chart reviews, audits, and compliance activities.
• Support grants, reporting, community partnerships, and service expansion.
