Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University is seeking a senior HR leader to develop workforce analytics, support mergers and divestitures, and drive organizational design across a complex enterprise. You will partner with executive stakeholders, Finance, Legal, and Operations to align workforce strategy with enterprise growth objectives.

The role requires 5+ years in HR business partnering and strong analytic capabilities, including payroll and HRIS-related reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field required.
• 5 years in an HR generalist, business partner, workforce planning, or organizational effectiveness role in a large, complex, matrixed organization.
• Demonstrated experience leading HR workstreams in mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures.
• Proven track record in organizational design, including spans and layers analysis, restructuring, and change management.
• Experience developing and executing HR communications.
• Strong strategic thinking and business acumen; translate enterprise priorities into workforce strategies.
• Advanced analytical skills; proficiency with workforce data and executive-level reporting (Excel, Power BI, Workday, Visier).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; capability to develop audience-appropriate HR communications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in workforce analytics dashboard development tracking headcount, attrition, and labor cost trends.
• Partner with Finance to align workforce plans with budget and strategic plans.
• Leverage HRIS and people analytics platforms to drive data-informed decisions.
• Lead HR due diligence workstreams for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Develop and execute integration or separation plans with workforce mapping and transitions.
• Conduct post-close reviews for workforce stabilization and culture integration.
• Collaborate with Total Rewards on job architecture and titling conventions.
