Job summary

Roadtex Transportation seeks a Director to lead Special Projects (Warehouse & Transportation). You will drive cross-functional initiatives that streamline warehouse operations, distribution, and transportation, delivering projects on time and within budget while guiding site teams and senior leaders.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, SOP development, change management, and collaboration with Sales, Legal, IT, Finance, and field operations to implement client implementations and service

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
• 8+ years in warehouse, distribution, transportation, logistics, supply chain, or 3PL ops.
• 5+ years in leadership, including project leadership.
• Experience with warehouse and transportation systems, reporting, and KPI tracking.
• Experience in temperature-controlled/logistics environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead key projects from planning through completion.
• Translate business needs into clear project plans for cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with warehouse and transportation teams to improve efficiency and costs.
• Provide updates and decision support to senior leaders.
• Support site openings, client implementations, and transportation improvements.
• Drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement across operations.
