This role will also focus on driving scale and process optimization to support our growth.

What You’ll Do:
  • Act as a finance lead providing centralized support for our payments business, working closely with the GM, CCO, Controller, Treasury, and external partners.
  • Own financial reporting, including BOD materials, monthly business reviews, benchmarking, and analyses.
  • Deeply understand business drivers, develop insights across segments and cohorts to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Lead financial planning for the payments business (e.g., annual and long-range planning), collaborating with the FP&A team and the business to define schedules, templates, and support consolidation.
  • Help define and execute the strategy for our payments product, addressing key questions around GTM, pricing, underwriting, balance sheet optimization, partnerships, and M&A where appropriate.
  • Partner with Data Science and Operations to identify system and tool requirements for scalable growth.
  • Build and develop a high-caliber team to scale with the business over time.
What We’re Looking For:
  • 10+ years of experience in strategic finance, preferably in a high-growth fintech environment; consulting experience and/or MBA is a plus.
  • A strategic, opinionated partner influencing product strategy.
  • Strong operational focus, with prior FP&A and business unit/strategic roles preferred.
  • Ability to analyze deeply, understand details, and communicate effectively at the executive level.
  • Proven relationship-building skills, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder management.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and business acumen, with the ability to simplify complex information.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and thriving in fast-paced, unstructured environments.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to lead both direct and indirect reports in a matrix organization.
